Goat Cheese Poppers
Recipe Notes

- Method: Indirect grilling
Ingredients
- 6 jalapeño peppers
- 8 ounces goat cheese, chilled
- 4 cinnamon tree bark leaves (optional; soaked for 30 minutes in water)
- 4 tablespoons honey, or as needed
- 2 teaspoons black or white sesame seeds
You’ll also need:
- A melon baller (optional); drip pan
Recipe Steps
1: Slice the jalapeño peppers in half lengthwise and remove the ribs and seeds with a melon baller or small spoon. Slice the cheese into 12 pieces that fit into the jalapeño halves. Slice the cinnamon bark leaves lengthwise into 3 pieces each, if using. (Feel free to substitute another herb.) Arrange on top of the cheese. Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Cook as described above.
