New England-Inspired Maple Syrup Whipped Cream

    Recipe Notes

    • Active Prep: 10 minutes

    Ingredients

    • 2 cups (1 pint) organic whipping or heavy cream, well-chilled
    • 3 tablespoons of pure New England maple syrup
    • 1 teaspoon pure organic Vanilla extract

    Recipe Steps

1: In your freezer, chill a stainless steel mixing bowl.

2: When the bowl is chilled, add the cream and beat with a hand-held eggbeater (or a hand-held electric mixer) and beat until the mixture begins to thicken.

3: Add 2 tablespoons of maple syrup and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Mix until fully combined. Do not over-beat or you will have butter.

4: Put a generous dollop of the whipped cream on each slice of pumpkin pie. Enjoy!
